I've stayed here many times and it's always great. Stayed in 'Lizzie Rose' this time and it was a super room. Lots of space and a patio. It is opposite the function rooms so may get a little noisy if there's an event on but a great stay.

This quaint hotel is a short, easy 10-minute walk from downtown Melton-Mowbray (plan to walk if you don't have your own car, as Uber hasn't found Melton yet and cabs are hard to come by at short notice). The grounds are well kept. Our room had a large, comfortable four-poster bed, and the bathroom was nicely outfitted with a large tub and shower attachment. Comfortable room, tasty dining and lovely garden. The glass wall to the bathroom is a bit odd, but not an issue for us.

Authentic historic house in well-maintained grounds within a very rural setting. Minor initial problems were quickly and graciously resolved with a room upgrade. Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful though not always with consumate skill. Our eventual room bettered any I have had in 5-star hotels. We were made to feel very welcome. Excellent food and service in the restaurant. The only downs were, I felt, the lack of a quiet lounge, poor Wi-Fi signals in most parts and rather poor...

Good location and neat hotel

I stay at this hotel at least 3 to 4 times a year and it’s always clean. The staff is super nice everything about it. I love it and the location is great.

Everything was perfect and we loved our stay. It was lovely and I wish we had boiled an additional night there.

Great place walking distance (15 min walk) to Loughborough University.

Both Chris and Yolanda were so friendly and welcoming. Despite their packed schedule running both a pub and a b&b, they were always cheerful and kind. Parking was free and easy. The room was spacious and comfortable. The fruity shampoo and body shower gel were so fragrant. Breakfast was delicious! And Chris was kind enough to show us a few magic tricks during our breakfast time. It was simply magical. Wishing both Chris and Yolanda a relaxing and wonderful holiday vacation to US next year.
