"There were eight adult family members on vacation. The property is absolutely amazing. The house was very comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed during our stay. The grounds are meticulously maintained and the only sounds you hear are the sheep in the dry moat and the birds that inhabit the property. Though there is no air conditioning in the home, the temperatures were very manageable with the windows open. Chartres is a charming town, away from the hustle and bustle of Paris....

"Hotel, restaurant and staff are really nice. Having an electric car meant that it was really helpful having the Tesla superchargers in the car park. Hotel employees were also very lovely with our Labrador. Would happily stay here again."

"A hotel we have stayed at several times before. Sadly we arrived in heat wave at 2pm totally aware check in was 4pm but very polite check in staff said they would ask room to be made ready asap so I gave my phone number to be informed! ( I’d hoped they had information from many previous visits) We walked around the town hoping for a phone call to get into the room maybe after half an hour of heat?!?! Sadly went to check in 4.05pm no one bothered to inform if room available but we were desperate to get out of heat both being old age pensioners. Otherwise room this time tiny with bathroom in a wardrobe configuration which was hopeless"

"The room was lovely and clean,breakfast was adequate, air con was wonderful. The young man that welcomed us was very good. We asked for a ground floor room as we can't make the stairs easily as my husband has arthritis in his knee and I have neuropathy. He was so kind and although we had been allocated a room he changed it to the ground floor. He deserves praise for his kindness. We really did appreciate it."

"Clean rooms with efficient air conditioning, not as spacious as the Ibis Budget we stayed in Bonn, but offered what we needed. Close to the city centre, but not walking distance. Plenty of choice for breakfast including local breads and cheeses. Secure parking area was great. The staff, particularly the man on reception, who spoke excellent English, were helpful."

"The breakfast was amazing and the restaurant is truly original with the biggest " cheese dome" in the world. The big problem I had was that the rooms are not equipped with a mini bar which is a must at any time of the year but more so during a heat wave. I was upgraded to a room with a tiny fridge and no alcohol in it. There was no vending machine either. The underground parking is very convenient with a direct elevator to the reception area."

"We have stayed here many times . It suits us as an overnight stop en route to south west . We bring our two dogs . Plenty of parking . Room always clean . Quiet at night . Staff always friendly and helpful . Only one downside this time was no aircon as it was 32 degrees and we were on ground floor and didn’t want to sleep with window open . But I will be staying again great value for money"
