Although we didn't take advantage of all the property offers, this was a great place to stay. The cottage was clean, area was quiet, landscape lovely and it really is in a great location. We were so close to Mackinaw for a quick trip in, but far enough away from the chaos that usually come with tourism spots.

Excellent Choice!

This little cabin was perfect for our girls trip. Very clean with a well stocked kitchen that had everything we needed to prepare meals. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with information on the area. Enjoyed the lake views and the proximity of area attractions. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Relaxing Get Away

Everything was as pictured for this cabin, Except the Beauty! Pictures cannot capture how beautiful the shared area and the lakefront was. My husband and I spent alot of time sitting on the little swing watching the waves roll in. We got up early enough to watch the sunrise over the lake. The cabin was so clean and provided all the necessities for a relaxing stay, giving us the ability to bring in groceries for cooking and grilling. Mackinaw City was a short drive away for time out exploring. The hosts were knowledgeable about the area, including sharing good places to eat and hidden gems, and were very wecloming and available. We enjoyed our visit very much.

Perfect getaway spot

What a wonderfully fabulous stay!!!!!!

We are so pleased with our stay!!! The accommodations were clean and well maintained. The entire property was very pleasant. The location was close to all the nearby activities and attractions, yet still quiet and relaxing.

Perfect little getaway

My husband and I stayed here for our 25th wedding anniversary and it was perfect! Our host made it extra special with homemade cookies & a little gift for our anniversary. I would definitely go back!

We had a great stay at Little Lem! The owners are so kind and welcoming. The booklet they created with local information was helpful. The space along the lake was perfect for spending the evening with our kids rock hunting!

Great little cottage on the lake! Very close to Mackinaw City, beautiful lake views. Perfect for our dad daughter trip to walk the bridge on Labor Day. It’s tough to see the driveway at night but luckily there’s a second chance with the horseshoe driveway.

Best relaxing and cozy location

Stayed at this cabin for a week. The most clean and bug-free cabin we have ever stayed at! Hosts could not have been any kinder! Location was so close to EVERYTHING and the view of Lake Huron from the window or porch was just breathtaking!! Highly Highly recommended.

Made our honeymoon special

When my wife and i arrived to the property we were greeted by the owner who came by and gave us homemade cookies which were delicious. The cottage itself is very cute and homey. The property is maintained very well and looks better that it does in the photos. It is such a peaceful place and is perfect for spending time with family while being a convenient distance from the island.

Mackinac Island trip

The house was great, it was just enough for all of us. And it was nice being able to have your own beach to swim at, fire pit, and the views were great. And both Cheboygan and Mackinaw City were very close to the house if you needed anything, or to catch the ferry to Mackinac Island. I would come back again if we do another trip to the Island.

Lakefront cottage

The cottage was just as pictured and described. It was close to all the activities that we wanted to do. The view was beautiful and the bike trail across the street was great. We spent one day riding around Mackinac Island, another day riding the trail to Cheboygan and exploring the city, and another kayaking right from the property. The owners were super nice and helpful, and the homemade cookies were delicious! It was a perfect getaway to celebrate our anniversary!

Time well spent.

Cabin was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was difficult though. Very small. Shower was adequate but shampoo/soap holder would work better if it was on the side instead of hanging from shower head. The connection for the shower hose came loose from the weight of it.

Perfect location

Just Kevin was perfect for us, only drawback was a very small bathroom. The location couldn't have been better, only 5 miles to Mackinaw City and the ferry to Mackinac Island,and very close to Cheboygan too. View of the lake was beautiful and we spent a lot of time sitting on the swing down by the water. House was very friendly and accommodating and a wealth of information and things to seem to in the area. Would definitely stay again but would out for one of the other rooms with a bigger bathroom, and a bedroom with a door separating it from the main living area.

Family of 5 with young kids enjoyed our stay!

The cabin may be small but seemed to have lots of space for our family of 5. The property is beautiful and quiet. The lake is beautiful however there really is no beach-it goes right from grass to water. It's less than 15 minute drive into Mackinaw city. A couple things to note: only 2 trash bags were provided which wasn't enough for the 5 of us for a week. Also a clothes line for drying out wet swim gear would be nice. Overall, we had a great time!

Loved it!

The property is beautiful! Everything we needed to provided. We didn’t ask for the homemade cookies but dang they were good. The teens loved the lake and we were able to play even though it was cold! We used the fire pit down by the lake and loved sitting out there. It was close enough to everything but nice to have quiet at night. Everything in the cabin was perfect. Enough towels, bedding and some extras. Thank you for having us. We loved our time!!

Can we move in?

WOW! We LOVED Lem’s Paradise and will definitely be back. Everything about this place is fantastic. The owners are super sweet and accommodating, even baking cookies for our family. The cottage was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We appreciated the little charcoal grill that was supplied and the grate over the fire pit. The swing was perfectly placed on the PRIVATE beach to see the fireworks over the bridge at night. We enjoyed swimming in the water, which was shallow and warm. We enjoyed a quiet bonfire where we ate s’mores, enjoyed the lake and lights from the bridge, and then read the Legend of Mackinac. From Lem’s you could really see the “turtle shape” and our kiddos loved that. We were amazed to see the Northern Lights one night. My husband and I were able to sneak away from the cabin because our baby monitor reached to the lake. Lem’s Paradise truly is everything you need for a perfect Michigan getaway. It was fantastic and we are ready to pack our bags and move in! ❤️
