"when we walked in and my wife mentioned that she was celebrating a big birthday, someone from the staff ran up to our room and left her a bottle of champagne and a card to welcome her! I should have taken credit for it, but I didn’t 😀. Definitely a much cleaner and nicer experience than any of the other AC boardwalk hotels I’ve been too, so if you’re not going there to gamble or even if you are and want a nicer place to go back to, definitely check this place out."

"loved the charm and age"

"The stay was affordable, obviously you get what you pay for. The location was good."

"Come meet a very lovely family at a very terrible property. The property is listed as El Dorado Beach Block on Expedia, but when you roll up on Pacific Avenue, the sign will read "El Dorado Motor Inn." Have a recurring problem with the television disconnecting from the network? Stop by the front desk anytime. Mostly, the the front desk will be very peaceful and undisturbed, like a pristine beach block. Or, a very lovely supermodel will emerge, frazzled by your presence, but willing to ask...

"Super convenient location to convention center."

"Yes, I knew it was a casino but I didn't expect to still smell like an ashtray in my room on the non-smoking floor. The smoke smell was everywhere and frankly overwhelming. It took away from the other really good points about the hotel like the really really nice gym and the kind helpful staff. The main floor felt like a maze from the self-parking garage to the lobby. The signage was small and inconsistent."

"Excelente muchas tranquilidad"

"This property is very clean. The room was very clean. Also very quiet and nice view. Everyone is so nice here. Breakfast was good. I recommend this place 100%."

"I will stay elsewhere. The smoke smell is not confined to any smoking area. The hotel rooms and rugs need to be refurbished and deep cleaned."
