"Very friendly staff. Car park a bonus, although we parked on the street as reception staff advised it was free and safe. Room very clean and having the small kitchenette was also a bonus. "

Breakfast was good, but some of the items had already been used (45mins before the end of breakfast) and it took a while for even the bread to be replaced. "We stopped for one night, the hotel was fine but quite basic, our room was very small and a little dated, plus the bed quite hard. However, all the staff were very friendly and despite having little English (and us having little French) we warmly welcomed. Our room and the public areas were very clean and despite what other reviews have said, the area felt quite safe. The hotel is well located, a short walk to restaurants and bars, very near the railway station but also quiet at night."
