"Have stayed here a few times but would maybe try somewhere else next time. It’s a shame but basic things let it down. No sugar in the room. Very poor tv signal which was so bad we could not watch the tv. When we mentioned it at reception we got told the signal was not good in that room. So why not sort it !! Dinner was excellent however the service was dismal. Waited 25 mins for our plates to be cleared and then another 25 minute wait for dessert. All in all very disappointing for the price. "

"Ate in the Grill on the Hill. Attentive staff. Food was good but was expecting a better range and standard. Clean room. Did tend to get too hot. Great location if going to Leeds Airport as an overnight stay before flying. "

"Overall very good. Not to be picky but the reception man upon checking out at 6:30am could do with some customer service skills. No eye contact grabbed my room card, no did you enjoy your stay was more interested in his phone before muttering to me is that all and sighing when I asked for a receipt"

"Thermostatic shower mixer not working. Poor pressure eiher too hot or too cold so temperature control not working. No places to hang towels. Porr wardrobe space"

"Very comfortable stay. It’s 15 to 25 minutes drive from city centre but I would recommend taking the bus which picks up at property entrance. Good breakfast and parking. "

"Excellent little cottage and suited two couples well. View is stunning and hot tub was a big bonus for some star gazing. Host lovely. Our only gripe was the sofa, not very easy to sit on and relax at night. Thank you for a great stay! "

"Lovely little cottage with two bedrooms both with en-suite shower rooms. Lovely and clean place with some nice classy touches.Well equipped kitchen and there is a supermarket less than five mins away.The convenience of being right next to the train station is great, as long as you don’t mind the trains passing, as it can on occasions be quite noisy.Being a cottage it has some ceilings, mainly leading to the kitchen, (the bedrooms are fine) which didn’t bother us being 5ft 5 inches, and there is plenty of signage to stop taller folk banging their heads."
