"Our overnight stay here was great. Upon arriving we were asked if we wanted to dine in the restaurant that night and reserved us a spot (the food was delicious so highly recommend). The accommodation was spacious and had everything we needed plus the bed was comfy.

"This is about 30 minutes outside Florence but a really cool, quiet location! It was nice to be outside of the cities and take a break from the crowds. The hotel had a ton of amenities and the staff was super nice. You would need a car if you are staying here (unless you want to pay for cabs), there is free parking though. "

Evening meal menu was odd. I think the chef was trying too hard to be different. The vegetarian chick pea dish was merely a bowl of cooked onions with some vegetable mush- my wife called it baby food. The chicken with truffles was tasty although came with flabby chicken skin.
