We loved this place and it was by far the best place we stayed during our time in Italy. The property is breathtaking and the service/staff is amazing. All the food we had was phenomenal and fresh. The wine is to die for. This is the type of place that is so good that you almost don’t want to tell people about it to keep it secret. Hope to be back again someday.

The hotel is set in a wonderful location and everyone working here is so kind. Our room overlooked Siena and the view was stunning. Our breakfast each morning was delicious as well. We would stay here again for sure.

We had such a great stay here! Breakfast was fresh and rooms were nice and cold at night with the ac. Hostess was welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful location and stay however both nights (on opposite ends of the week) with two different rooms..the shower flooded the room.

This was an excellent experience. Not only is the infrastructure fabulous but its location is great. Staff is friendly with an excellent service attitude. Restaurant in the hotel is amazing too!

We are very frequent travelers who have never been to the Villa il Poggiale before and loved it. We visited in late September - not too hot and the evenings were cool. Perfect time to go. Federica, Irene, and the entire staff were absolutely wonderful from arranging our to/from airport transportation to making us feel at home. The owners were so friendly and helpful when suggesting restaurants for dinner. The breakfast each morning was prepared fresh—fruits, eggs, cheese, pastries, and always homemade cake and croissants. The bedroom was perfect with its wood burning stove and beamed ceiling, and two giant windows framing the Tuscan countryside. We would certainly return for another stay.

Simply charming. Located just a block from the Old Town and surrounded by medieval buildings, churches, and towers. Everything was perfect; the breakfast was delicious and made to order. The fruit, bread, and jams were fresh—no preservatives or pre-packaged products. The person in charge of the kitchen was very kind and attentive.
