"Hands-down, always my favorite place to stay when I am in Chicago. I’ve been staying here for years. It’s essentially located so you can walk everywhere to the magnificent mile to the Gold Coast Beach to all of the shopping. Restaurants are right next to it. There is a true food, kitchen and a soul cycle right next to it as well and Tal nightclub is also right next-door. The staff is absolutely amazing in the rooms are luxurious for a great price."

"The room is nice, big with a bed which is comfy and the Wi.Fi works just fine. It wasn't the cleanest. If you look a bit under the chairs or in the corners there was plenty of dust. Breakfast is ok and they were very kind to make an earlier one for the marathon"

"Lakeview window. Odd shaped room but the view was stunning! Watched the sunrise and it was amazing! Love the older hotels and some of the quirky things. Bathroom door stuck and locked my husband on for a few minutes. Cannot set your own room temperature. You can only adjust the fan. We had to crack the windows open to get cool air. But the room was CLEAN! Bartender on Saturday night was Amazing! The ladies in the cafe were adorable! Otherwise this was a good place to stay for the price. And did I mention the view!"
