This is a hidden gem, don't let the outside make a difference! Some ares are bit rough, but the rooms are marvelous the king bed actually a KING bed, the restaurant top food taste! Rooms very clean and updated!

The host Alex is a great all around person. He greeted me and walked the property with me. In addition, he provided me with great information about the Dover Castle and how to reach it. The castle is conveniently located a 20 minute uphill walk from the house.
Another great convenient item is the Train station is an easy 20 minute walk through the city center.
I highly recommend the Church Hill House. Also, Alex cooks a great breakfast.

Another room found on the fly based on reviews and was a great find! Room was clean and comfortable. And although the bathroom was shared, they provide robes for your comfort.
