Very clean, light and good sized room with very comfortable bed. A convenient M & S food store next door. Lovely staff, particularly Julie, who was so friendly and went out of her way to be helpful. "I spent the night at the Travelodge High Wycombe Central while attending a workshop at the nearby Bucks New University. The facilities while not first rate offered value for the money spent, the bed was OK, the room was clean, and I felt secure. The location though in the center of town were pretty quiet and allowed for good sleep. The view from my room wasn't anything to write home about, but this was understandable. The food at breakfast was typical English fare and the staff I interacted...

"The hotel is in serious need of refurbishment. The handbasin was cracked shower was mouldy and the bedsprings were compressed and noisy."

"The only thing I would like to point out is the only way into the travel lodge is by lift. I am claustrophobic so this was not ideal for me! But the staff were amazing and let me in & out through the alarmed emergence staircase. I do think this should be mentioned by Expedia to everyone before booking as could cause people problems! Apart from this the hotel was lovely. The bar is open all nignt and food is served 24/7 which is a bonus."
