"We stayed in a double room at the back of the property with a view of the river. The room was very well equipped with tea, coffee and biscuits as well as a bottle of water for both of us. There was ample hanging space in the wardrobe and a large cupboard if needed. The bathroom was sizeable with a bath with overhead shower. Located in the centre of Tewkesbury it was convenient. We didn't eat here as we have relatives we were visiting but we did look at the menu and felt it looked good and...

"The hotel is an old building with solid walls, so the rooms were quite quiet. Our visit co-incided with scaffolding entirely covering the outside of the building for remedial work on the walls and roof, but although off-putting there was no noise or dust from the works - just a pair of feet dangling from the scaffolding outside our window on the day of our arrival! "Lovely place, unstaffed but easy access. Only issue was it was very hot even with a fan on a day that was 20 degrees C outside, so would be unbearable in the height of summer. Fan was in the room, but didn’t do much. Open windows wouldn’t have helped due to road noise. "

"This quaint and traditional B&B is a great location for Shakespeare lovers who wish to be in walking distance of the RSC and Stratford old town. It is located across the bridge and so is in a quieter area away from the business of the town center. Within a 5 minute walk you are in historic Stratford and all the restaurants and shops. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff very friendly and helpful. There is parking available on site which was very advantageous. "

"4.5 stars. Minus a half star purely for room size and lack of shelf space in bathroom. If I’d been alone it would’ve been perfect but for two people it was a little small and trying to maneuver around one another was a bit silly. Bathroom size was great tho- would just be lovely to add some shelves for places to set cosmetics bag on, etc. there was definitely room for a couple shelves. Staff was friendly, bed was wonderful, and the location couldn’t have been more perfect. "

"This is a beautiful property within easy reach of Stratford upon Avon. Our room had a stunning view, was beautifully furnished with a super comfy bed and included a fridge with water and milk, and tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was spotlessly clean with a huge modern shower and large fluffy towels. There were plenty of choices for breakfast and it was all cooked perfectly.
