"We had an absolutely incredible stay at Viesca. The setting is beautiful. The photos don't do it justice. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Concetta welcomed us and kindly showed us around, talked us through the facilities... The pool is lovely, and it was great to be able to play tennis as well. We did not try any of the spa treatments, but there was a really good selection available. Breakfast was varied and delicious. The only negative thing we have to say about it/Viesca is that...

"There is no warning about the terribly state of the roads or that you have to take all foodstuffs with you as there is absolutely nothing for miles. "

"We were so surprised by how much space the is at the villa, it was fantastic the pictures do not do it justice., it is very old and rustic building put to its best by the owners, games room gym, lovely pool, great supermarkets near by (puts ours to shame) you can walk into the nearest town for a drink and a market on a Wednesday morning (good hike back though) If you decide to get train to Arezzo make sue it stops at the local train station (just a square of ground) as the train went by my kids...

"We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Il Castellaccio. There are stunning views in all directions with lovely gardens and outdoor seating, and a great pool which we used many times. It is very quiet and the perfect place for a relaxing vacation. The private apartment is larger than we anticipated, which was great, and has beautiful views and nice light. We rented one of the two apartments that make up the old stone guest house (which stayed cool in the sun!). The hosts live in a separate house...

"The property was comfortable and had everything that was needed for our stay. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed spending our evenings sitting out at the pool area across from the house. We made full use of the poolside kitchen and barbecue area. Danny and Jeanette were very welcoming hosts and were extremely helpful when our hire car broke down on the way to the property and helped to quickly resolve a leak. Their knowledge and expertise of the local area meant that we had enriching...

"Had a great time again with our family and the dogs. The house may not be the most modern, but it’s clean and huge, and so is the domain with its large terrace and amazing view. Roberto and Alicia are very helpful and are very respectful for you privacy. The region is perfect for hiking and mountain biking, and the restaurants and shops are not very expensive. So I would truly recommend this place is your into the true Italian rural /nature experience . We will definitely come back."

"Borhgetto Calcinaia was the perfect location for my 50th birthday celebration. Ben, the house manager, and Dale were responsive and helpful throughout the reservation process and stay. We enjoyed several days by the pool, had a chef come to the house and prepare dinner, and ventured out to the many small, historic communities nearby."

"Gianfranco is a superb host, he was waiting for us on arrival and gave us a guided tour of the property to make sure we were familiar with everything. A very kind man who provided a welcome basket of his own Olive oil and local wine. The property is excellent, the location and views superb and everything a group wanting to relax in Tuscany could ask for. If you want to walk in the area, the village of Quota with an excellently stocked local shop is 1.5 miles away and there are track through...
