"The entire weekend was amazing- dinner at restaurant at night was delicious. Breakfast every morning was perfect but the macarons were the best!!!"

"We really enjoyed the house . We had plenty of room for everyone and the view was great! There were only a couple things I would consider a downside. 1 being that it wasn’t that clear to me how inaccessible the water was from the property. The pictures made it seem as though the grass led right down to the water. Second, the next door neighbor, although he was a very nice man whom I spoke with, had a dog that apparently doesn’t like guests and would bark constantly anytime it was outside. I was even asked that should he need to let the dog out to use the bathroom that we go inside until he put it back in. Another thing was that there was a considerable amount of hair on the wall of the master shower, lastly, the back burner on the stove is not lighting past the low setting and the front left burner would not light at all. All in all these were just a few minor inconveniences and overall everything was perfect and we loved the home."

"I was in Vicksburg for a week, on business. The year before, I stayed in a hotel on the other side of town. This time, I wanted to be downtown, making the flavor of the town more accessible. I was not disappointed. This place is utterly charming, a well-preserved taste of the 1800s, in which the house was built. It was like stepping back in time, with all of the modern amenities that you would want in any overnight stay. The floors were shiny and clean. The breakfast was far better than anything you would get in town, fending for yourself. The staff was everything that you would hope for. The bed...the bed was so nice that I asked what brand it was. It was so comfortable! Good food and drink are an easy walk and that saves you the trouble of figuring out how many drinks you should have for dinner, and maybe after dinner. I had purchased some local bourbon and told the Manager, LaTonya, that I was hoping to enjoy some while sitting in a rocking chair, on the porch, and watch a thunderstorm roll in that night. She set out glasses for me and even ice, in case I wanted it. The house, the bed, the breakfast, the location, they were all amazing! However, the very best part of the entire experience was LaTonya. She cares for her guests as if they are family. Southern hospitality at its finest! She went out of her way to serve me and make sure that I was comfortable. This is the only place that I will ever stay if I find myself back in Vicksburg!"

"We had a wonderful stay! The place was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We only wish we could have stayed longer than one night. Our boys absolutely loved fishing off the dock and spent as much time there as possible. It was a great spot for our family, and we would definitely stay again!"

Historic Speak Easy Loft with Water Views in Downtown Vicksburg

"Great location with multiple museums and excellent restaurants in walking distance. Brought our dog and found a dog park near by. My fur baby was not a fan of walking up and down the two flights of stairs to the loft but he did enjoy walking up and down Washington and the dog park. Remy was a great and responsive host. Enjoyed food at Key City Pub. The Social, and The Biscuit. Loft was spacious and very comfortable."
