"Such a beautiful mansion with fascinating history. The staff were all extremely friendly and went above and beyond in their service. It was lovely to sit in one of the rockers on the front porch in the evening and read. The breakfast was delicious and the table was beautifully set. The tour after breakfast is definitely worth it so don't skip it. It was full of interesting information and history. I'd stay again, with pleasure. "

"Beautiful old home with all the old furnishings and decor- lots to look at and feel like you have stepped into another time. The room was very comfortable. Macy gave great recommendations for dinner and we had an excellent meal. The neighborhood is transitional. We didn’t have any issues, but it made a walk from the hotel less appealing. "
