The location is private, but still close to the activities ( boat excursion in Trapani and village/castle in Erice). This Villa is the quintessential Sicilian home. We will definitely be back!!"

They helped getting our luggage to the apartment which was immaculate and the kitchen was provided with fruit, snacks, bottled water, milk, coffee, etc. the views were amazing and this was by far our favorite place during our stay in Sicily. "IL Carmine is a former convent and a historic building. Beautiful architecture. Very nice restaurant. The rooms are on the smaller side but very clean with excellent ensuite bathrooms. Pillows and queen mattress were in great shape and ac worked well. The staff were very helpful and friendly. An excellent breakfast was provided in the price of the room as was free parking right in front of the hotel. We found Il Carmine to be an excellent value."
