"We had a really nice stay at Poggio Del Drago!! Very peaceful location outside the city but Arezzo is easily accessible by car or bus. We did not have a car and Emanuele kindly picked us up from the train station which was much appreciated. Breakfast was great every morning, the rooms were clean and we always felt very safe. I give the facilities and the staff top marks, with a few deductions for the old beds and couch that they hope you might confuse for a queen bed in a "bedroom" that is a living room in what was supposed to be a "three bedroom" apartment. "What an amazing surprise! The town had so much history that I even called my daughter and sent her pics to see if we could shoot a video/movie there. The owners were an amazing couple who did everything they could to make us feel welcome. The dining experience was very high end with a menu that would make any foodie truly happy. "Small family-owned inn located in center of Civitella in Val di Chiana. Room was comfortable and included all we needed. It was cold upon check-in which the co-owner tried to remedy with a space heater. It took a while. The room warmed up after the first night. The other co-owner kindly offered me our first night complimentary. (Thank you again.).
