"This was a horrible experience! When we entered the room it immediately felt dirty. The room had a strong musty smell and an overall unclean feeling that stuck to you. There was hair all over the bathroom floor and in the bathtub as if the room had not been properly cleaned at all. A fresh roll of toilet paper had not even been placed on the holder and there were pieces scattered on the floor around the toilet. We immediately reported this to the front desk. They did offer to move us to another room, but by that point we were already looking for other hotels. The staff did not seem apologetic and refused to refund both nights of our stay. After continuing to press the issue, they told us to contact Expedia for a refund. Expedia then contacted the hotel, and the hotel refused the refund request. I would strongly encourage potential guests to look elsewhere. The property advertises clean, upgraded rooms that look nothing like the room we were given. "

"There were a lot of pros about this hotel but two HUGE cons that ended up costing us more money, hence the negative review. I also want to note that I worked at a hotel in a major city for ten years as a front desk agent. I know how challenging that job is and frankly, how much it can absolutely suck, ESPECIALLY when you don't have proper management support, which I have a feeling is what's happening here and I will be sending an email to the GMs about one employee's behavior in particular because it was so uncalled for, yet I think speaks to a much bigger issue with how managers are treating their staff. The biggest issue is that this hotel states that their rooms have sofa beds and therefore can sleep 4+ guests. I booked one room for me, my mom, and my sister. I took the sofa bed and can tell you firsthand, that sofa bed is NOT something ANYONE should ever have to sleep on. They are worn down to the point that you can feel every single spring and the hard support bar going down the middle of the frame. By night two of our stay I was on no sleep and losing my mind. We asked to be moved to a room with two beds, but the hotel couldn't accommodate that, so we ended up having to book an additional room. The fact that the hotel markets their sofa beds as being something people can sleep on is criminal. Do not book a room thinking that is an option. It isn't. "

"The property is old and has not been maintained. Our room was 74 degrees and would not get any cooler. There was no soap, shower gel, or shampoo in the bathroom, neither in the shower (there was conditioner hanging on the wall out where the bottle dispensers would be for gel and shampoo- there were just empty hangers) nor on the sink counter. The lamp on the desk did not work. We heard two others complaining to the front desk about their accommodations. Although the cheapest option in downtown Nashville, for the state of the property, the prices was still not worth it. "
