We have been coming to the Maya Hotel and Bistro for several years. It gets even better with time. The Lees are excellent in maintaining their standards of service and training staff. They improve their facilities and it is a truly welcoming place. Like a home you know you can always go to for the comfort and care. And the food....second to none! A most creative menu, infusing classic cuisines with just the perfect Caribbean/Belizean flavor. We will always return!!

My husband and I loved staying at Seiri Del Mar! The grounds are stunning and the condo provided everything we needed. The on-site washer and dryer was a plus! Ratka, her husband, and entire staff were so kind. Whenever I had a question I would just ask anyone and they would help us. We will definitely be back. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway with beautiful local people Hopkins is the place to visit!

Absolutely the most stunning hotel and location. Our king room overlooked a pristine sandy beach. Everything was just perfect, the staff, the decor, the comfort and the food. The breakfast included a Belizean specialty the fry Jack. A delicious puff of doughnut like bread served with or without sugar and cinnamon. The friendly bartender Elvis makes the most spectacular cocktails at the beach bar. The owners were on site overseeing operations and their attention to detail makes everything so...

Maya Heights is a breathtaking and serene place. My stay there was peaceful, relaxing The staff were all pleasant and kind.

Had a great time. The staff at this hotel is really wonderful. It is a very pretty hotel set on a great beach. it is a quite town but close to lots of attractions. Water was great.

Our stay was wonderful. We are a mom & 3 daughters on a girls get away! Hotel has complimentary paddle boards, kayaks and bicycles. Wonderful swim up bar. Delicious food in the restaurant. Extremely helpful staff. Jason was exceptionally helpful. Also complementary shuttle in to town and to/from airport The hotel is quite remote. If you don't have a car you must rely on the shuttle which has set hours that may not match up with your plans

Beautiful room! Breakfast included is a plus especially traveling with younger kids! Friendly and welcoming staff! It is a place you’d want to stay and come back again.

HANDS DOWN, the best resort! We stayed for 3 nights in Placencia, and when we come back we will go here without even second guessing it. Manny at the front desk is EXCEPTIONAL, Amir and all of the dining staff go above and beyond for EVERYTHING! Our room was clean, comfortable and properly taken care of daily. The spa is OUTSTANDING. I have traveled all over the world and this resort/hotel is at the top of my list. They took care of our every need and question. They looked out for us as their...

Spent 6 nights in this "hidden gem"! Tucked away in the quiet village of Hopkins, Almond Beach was a perfect place for a family getaway. The room was spacious and clean, right on the beach and quiet. The staff was friendly and accommodating--even making a homemade soup for our daughter who wasn't feeling well one night! So kind!! The Coffee shop made a perfect cappuccino every morning, and the restaurant served delicious local and fresh meals. We had a nice balance of relaxation and...

This is a lovely beachfront property. My husband and I stayed in the Stingray cabana and it was perfect. Comfortable bed, large bathroom and it was nice having the option of leaving windows open so we could hear the crashing waves or turning on the AC if the humidity was high. The staff was fantastic. Thank you!

This place is super new or super newly renovated. It seems to be one of the first of its kind in this particular town. There is a fence around the property, but we didn’t see any particular need for it, aside from making guests feel secure and a little more away from the local sounds and sights. The neighborhood seemed laid back and not touristy. The bar-restaurant is SO cute. The food was excellent. I had the steak. My friend had the conch ceviche. Both were excellent. I also had the enormous...

We got this place at last minute, arrive late and the owner host were waiting for us. Room very naive, individual tree houses. The place is beautiful, we could not enjoy it ,much because we were in Placencia for a weeding and we were pretty busy, left early and come back late, we did have breakfast and I can say it is very good and reasonable, their restaurant have a great sea view.

For starters, if your idea of a great beach hotel looks something like a big city Marriot plunked down into a locale with sand and water, manned by local folks sanitized with white uniforms, then Parrot Cove Lodge, and for that matter Hopkins Beach in general, is probably not what you are looking for, and I'm guessing they are not all that interested in you either. If on the other hand you appreciate an intimate experience with your hosts, a clean, comfortable, well maintained room, excellent...

The property was clean, well maintained and overall a pleasant environment! The staff were very friendly and helpful. My family and I enjoyed our time there!

We had a great experience at Bocawina. The owners and staff were very personable, helpful, and friendly. The accommodations were very nice and clean. The food was excellent. There were so many things we would have liked to do had we stayed longer. We will definitely stay there again the next time we are in Belize!

The whole place was amazing! The cabins were bare bones but clean and cute. We had a porch in the back right by the rainforest, but wished there had been comfy chairs to sit on instead of a small, hard bench. The bathrooms were clean with some interesting insect life to observe while sitting there. Showers were hot and good pressure. The Toucan Cafe up front was superb - we ate every meal there. There is comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. Fridge and coffee maker are available for guests....

This is a true hidden gem I booked at the last moment. Arrived late night, but once the sun came up, you were in true paradise. Everywhere your eyes landed, beautiful existed. From the bedroom suite to the bathroom to the porch, to diner area, to the natural spring pool. Breathe taken. I need to plan a trip just to experience this boutique hotel again. Thank you staff for showing me the beauty of the people and of Belize.

Five stars! Incredibly welcoming owners/staff, deluxe room - included microwave, toaster, refrigerator, TV (with channel guide)- and also provides bikes to tour the town! The owners walked us to our room and made sure everything was working. They also gave great activity ideas and restaurant recommendations. Plenty of parking just out front! And huge outdoor area with hammocks to relax! Loved this place!

Where do I start? The moment we got to the resort we were welcomed by Heidi who brought us to our room. She was the most kind and helpful dront desk person there! Heraldo made our long weekend a blast and kept the drinks flowing. I dont know how many welcome Freshnesses i had, but they never disappointed! The resort itself is magical, like something out of a book. Mark, Juan, and Roland were also very accommodating setting up our shuttle's and golf cart rental which i highly recommend doing. The...

Such a beautiful resort highly recommend! The staff is what really made it such a beautiful experience. The staff was welcoming and tended to our every need. I spent my birthday here and it was something to remember!
