"We loved our visit to the Colchester Boutique Hotel. It's very close to the centre of town where there are lots of places to get food and drink and do a little sightseeing. The hotel has a quirky charm with several communal areas decorated nicely with art and antiques. We particularly liked the vintage cigarette machine. "Definitely a place to remember and unwind after a busy time of work, whether that be holding which we hadn’t tried or enjoying a very nice view while having a drink to enjoying a relaxing time in their swimming pool. The food was spot on, affordable to the time we spend there. Definitely will return in the near future for another well needed time away from work."

"First night there was a lot of noise from busy road and bar below (although it was mainly our wedding crew) but when we asked to move the 2 nd night they were VERY obliging and that room (8) was amazing. Food very good. (Dinner and breakfast) staff very friendly and all pleasant. "
