"Good for the price. Good location, quieter than other areas of Manhattan. Felt a bit annoyed paying another fee upon arriving for amenities that were limited/we didn’t use. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It’s a great hotel if all you need is a room. Bed was clean and you got your own bathroom."

"A great location if you're looking for somewhere away from the hustle, bustle and noise of Midtown Manhattan. Easy access to Staten Island and the ferries. Really quick metro links to Midtown, Lower East Side and Upper West Side. Really helpful staff. Pick a river view room on an upper floor and you won't be disappointed. Only slight negative is the room doors bang very loudly when they close - but I get that they are big fire doors."

"Great location, and the staff was friendly overall. However, one older individual working at the front desk had a bit of an attitude. The rest of the staff was very friendly. The hotel definitely needs some renovations, as it was a bit janky, but we still enjoyed our stay, mainly because of the location."
