All instructions were provided prior to our arrival and easy to understand. The manager was friendly and we loved spending time with the animals. It was a little pricey but I would stay again. "This is the closest we’ve gotten to camping and it was a beautiful spot. The composting toilet took getting used to but otherwise we loved it. It’s a hike to the cabin so travel light. We traveled with our senior dog so it was slow going coming back up the hill(we’re seniors too).Full disclosure is we had a comped room at Mohegan so got to clean up there. "My husband and I were traveling to Mount Holyoke College for a graduation, and rather than staying at an overpriced, yet always disappointing Inn or Hotel in South Hadley, we chose to stay a bit away, here in Connecticut. The drive to the graduation was not too bad, and we, instead of having to cram into a packed city, were able to enjoy a beautiful, private stay in the woods.
