"Check in was good. Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was well-maintained and and as advertised so very comfortable. We had no problems with the washroom facilities. Shower was in good working order and hot. We would highly recommend grabbing a bite to eat from the restaurant. The portions were large and value was good as was the food.This is the same place that you go for breakfast and the breakfast options were fabulous. No problems. we would highly recommend this property."

"The team were helpful and friendly on arrival and throughout our stay. The restaurant team made sure we were well looked after, especially as I had a specific dietary requirement, this was not an issue and it was very well catered for. Thanks to everyone who made sure we received true Scottish hospitality during our stay. Good size room with tea/coffee facilities. The bathroom was a good size with shampoo and shower gel."

Good choice at breakfast, unfortunately poached eggs were overdone on first morning but perfect the following day. All staff encountered were friendly and professional at all times. "I give this property a solid 4 in its class. That is to say an older, affordable walk-up in the city centre and near the train station. They could renovate, modernize and charge triple the rate. I had to depart before the complimentary breakfast was served but it looked plentiful and fresh. If you’re looking for basic overnight accommodation then this should suit."
