"We were on the ground floor facing the road so we couldn't see the beach unless we walked out the door. The beach was a very short walk from the property. The room was really nice but didn't have an in room microwave, there was one in the office which is only open 8-8. Also the mini-fridge didn't have a freezer, which sucked for us because we usually refreeze our cooler freezer packs. All in all though, I would highly recommend this place. And we loved the layed back feel of Port Aransas. "

"Sliding doors to balcony have framing issues and a lot of outside noise comes in because glass windows do not seal. Bed bugs were all over one of our beds as well! Beware!"

"It's a nice new hotel. The staff was great and the breakfast was pretty good. They didn't have hot oatmeal every day, but always had the instant in a cup. Nondairy milk was available upon request. At check in, they gave us a card for a free beer and pretzels/beer nut snacks good for the first evening. Unfortunately, they were out of snacks our first night."

"The hotel was very good. I do not have any complaints whatsoever. However, the door out onto the small balcony was sealed shut. While I am sure there’s a reason for this, it would’ve made our stable or enjoyable if I could’ve opened the sliding door, as was originally intended in the construction of this hotel."
