Wilderness at the Smokies – River Lodge Suites

"Very pleased with our overall experience at this resort. Traveled here for a short Fall Break excursion with 2 adults and 3 boys (2 teenagers and 1 preteen). There were plenty of options for fun things to do that kept us all entertained and happy. Highlights were the indoor water park and the escape room. We also got fun passes for all the boys. They all enjoyed the ropes course. The other activities were somewhat less thrilling, but still enjoyable, probably would be appreciated more by younger kids. Arcade was nice enough, but a money suck, like most arcades typically are. The 36 arcade credits included in our basic fun passes ran out very quickly. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and met all of our needs. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our only complaint would be about the pizza. My friend ordered 2 pizzas and a 2 liter, which was advertised on a poster in an elevator as a family meal deal for $34.99. But, upon delivery, she got charged nearly $70 (not including the tip) for that so-called deal plus some breadsticks she never asked for. So $35 more for 6 crappy unwanted breadsticks and the delivery fee?! Not to mention, the pizza was less than mediocre."

"Everything was great. The only two things I would want changed are the music that's played in the lobby and the rooftop bar and the sliding bathroom door. The music was stuff I didn't recognize and was just hard to follow along with, just very strange. The sliding bathroom door was really heavy and I wrenched by back trying to close it."
