"This is one of the best hotels we have stayed 3 nights in. The room was full of character, the bathroom spotless, our meal in the Locanda restaurant superb and we even enjoyed the 15 minute uphill walk into Assisi! The staff were really helpful and friendly, especially Beatrice on reception and the breakfast room manager Petra. The grounds are peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommended"

"Such a lovely spot, set in olive groves at the foot of the western edge of the hilltown of Assisi, just below the Bascilicas of San Francesco. Wonderful communication from the host, sparkling clean, easy access. Right across the road is the pedestrian road (climb!) up to the basilicas and town. Good exercise! Also right next to a gravel road that meanders through the valley, for flat walks. I loved staying at La Piaggia."

"The property is very nicely decorated and has a great view on the city of Gubbio. The facilities are big and roomy and nicely decorated. The cousine is excellent! The place seems to be a popular destination for weddings and birthday parties. The room are in a separate building so the parties do not bother, but they are not very sound proof, so if there are noisy guests staying the night you definitely want to have earbuds with you. Also because there is no stuff to call during the night."

"Sebbene indicato correttamente da google maps la strada per arrivare non ispira molta fiducia. Essendo isolato è molto tranquillo. Sicuramente è più fruibile d'estate (piscina, maneggio, spazi esterni con area bimbi) ma anche d'inverno ha il suo fascino (camino, il salone). Gli spazi sono ampi e confortevoli e i gestori cordiali e disponibili. Non lontano ci sono molti posti da vedere. WiFi più che accettabile."

Min hund og jeg nød et par afslappende dage her, og selvom det var sent på sæsonen og poolen var lukket, havde vi det dejligt. Ikke langt hvis du vil udforske Monte Subasio og området deromkring. "A lovely little place near a beautiful area of Italy. The town is cute and quiet. The mountains are lovely and this is a great place to stay if you want to visit Frasassi Caves. The owner was friendly and welcoming. As a visitor from the United States, the host was able to speak excellent English which made the check in a breeze. Highly recommend!"
