"This is my favorite place to go with my dogs when I head to the mountains. I enjoy hiking nearby and hanging out by the river in Salida, but this can leave all of us a bit messy. No worries, at the Loyal Duke, their accommodations are perfect. The bathrooms are older, but clean. The office/ breakfast setup is easy, and I had options of being inside or out for breakfast. I love the simple, updated decor in the room, and will be back again! Not to mention the very nice woman at the desk!!!"

"Great stay. We had a snow day which we enjoyed by spending family time indoors. The area is gorgeous and the views spectacular. We enjoyed smores by the firepit and made some lovely meals together. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Thank you. "
