Beachfront Cabin on Whidbey Island

Come unplug, relax, recharge and de-stress at this beach retreat on central Whidbey Island! Walk along the beach and enjoy the views of the Olympic Mountains, Puget Sound, and watch the ferry cross back and forth between Coupeville and Port Townsend. Visit nearby Fort Casey State Park or the Crockett Lake bird sanctuary. There are many outdoor activities to choose from, as well as good food, services, unique shops and even a whale museum!

The cabin is small, cozy and cute. With great windows for beach and water views! Open kitchen living and dining space, with two bedrooms and one full bath. The larger bedroom has a King size bed, closet and dresser. The 2nd bedroom, just off of the dining area, is smaller with a queen bed, dresser and closet. The full size bathroom is located between the two bedrooms. Keystone avenue follows the water and is a quiet road that allows for a nice stroll if you don't want to walk on the rocky beach.

Shopping, eating, wine tasting, hiking, biking, parks, water fun etc. is all close by! Take the nearby ferry to Port Townsend - you don't even need to take your car. The town that almost was Seattle, is full of great shops, dining ,and history! Other fun things there include a theater, wooden boat center, marina, museums, Fort Warden... with local tours available.

Shopping and dining opportunities can also be found in nearby Coupeville, as well as Oak Harbor, Greenbank, Freeland and Langley. Coupeville is the oldest town in Washington State, and a great home base for exploring locally.

Whidbey Island is also in close proximity to Seattle, Anacortes, and the San Juan Islands for an enjoyable day trip. From arts, farmers markets, music, and seasonal events such as winery, farm and art tours, to apple pressing, parades, welcoming the whales, etc. there is often many more activities happening around here than one can possibly partake in!

So come unplug, and unwind and get reconnected with yourself, a loved one or friend. The busy world will still be there when you get back, but you will be better able to handle it!

(The Navy jets do fly over when doing their training. It's fun to watch but is noisy. Be sure to ask for more details if you have any concerns.)

The most amazing relaxing little piece of heaven ever!!!!! My host also, Patti is always so incredible and so attentive and kind , didn’t need anything on arrival as it was all provided. Thank you soooo much . I Lov this nook by the water , the porpoise’s , birds , beach are so relaxing to my soul!. Listening to the water rolling off of the rocks takes away all your stress. Chose the best weekend ever , sun was out ate breakfast on the Patio each day , and walks on the beach! Thanksgiving vacation with family
Our family came to the island to celebrate Thanksgiving with us so we needed extra lodging to accommodate all and we found this cute little rental near us. Bonus summer days!
We had an amazing time here at this simple place right on the water. Opening the blinds every day to reveal the Sound just outside was magical. We sat on a log on the beach and saw an otter swim by, and a porpoise, and many eagles. The Ebey’s landing hike is not to be missed. And the host was lovely; she mailed us the raincoats we forgot in the coat closet as we left. We’ll definitely be on the lookout for openings to come back here.

This place will not blow you away with luxury. It will blow you away with a magnificent view. We spent 2 or 3 evenings just sitting out watching the salmon jump, the dolphin swim buy and even a seal check us out. Magical. The house is very functional. It is not large, but has everything you need. The directions, onboarding etc.... was flawless. They were easy to work with. Highly recommend.

The view from this cabin is so wonderful, but not easy access or walking on the beach especially if your not as young and graceful as you used to be.. but there are 2 really nice beaches very close. Very convenient to Coupville and if your hungry stop up at Callen’s right across from the ferry the food is amazing

Quaint little getaway from it all
An excellent escape form the grind. Epic sunsets, gorgeous views, stellar location. This is a quaint land very cute little getaway, don’t expect to be watching movies on a large screen with a sound system or utilizing many modern technological amenities. It’s kind of like a time capsule. If you want to sit back and read a book, maybe even write one, this will give you that. Close to the ferry to port Townsend, centered on the island and located on a beach with one of the most majestic views anywhere in the United States or elsewhere. Not toddler friendly

Once my husband and I arrived, we realized we had left a bag at home with our medications, so we had to return to Seattle. Patti, our contact, suggested we might be able to come back the next day and resume our two-night stay. We were discouraged at this point, and chose to stay home. Is there any way we could at least recover the cleaning fee. We used nothing in the cabin. Thank you!
