"The property is pristine and beautiful. Everything we needed was present including directions. It was walking distance to town. We hiked a lot and of course Stowe has many places to do that. We all agreed that it was the nicest place we've rented through VRBO. My communication with the owners was excellent and prompt. When we go back, this will be the 1st property we'll look for. From a thoughtful welcome package to serving platters to folding tables to a ping pong table. They thought of it all! "5 of us - 2 'adults' and 3 grown kids - all stayed at the home. We all had plenty of space. When arriving I was confused between a key lock mounted outside the door and the integrated handle lock on the door. A quick call to the owner cleared up the confusion. The integrated lock takes some getting used to and can be a bit finicky to operate at times. We ate out mostly so didn't use the kitchen but it appeared to have everything anyone would need. "Although the weather did not really cooperate (rained for the first 2 days), we still found the home cozy, peaceful and and the area serene. A beautiful location right on the lake. We go once a year with our four wheelers to northern Vermont and this was a great riding area. Lots of trails with stops along the way (Parker Pies, Bakersfield, Morgan Store). Jim and his wife were there when we arrived. Very nice people. Would recommend to hikers, ATV'ers, and just folks who want to get away. PS....

"A lamp between the sofa and the love seat would have been appreciated. My laptop would not connect to the modem in the unit, so I did not have internet while I was there. We did connect with your tech team and the were great in trying to figure out how to fix the problem, but nothing worked to do so. Thankfully, my husband was able to connect right away."

"Everything that you could ask for in the beautiful town of Stowe. Great location with easy access to food, hiking and town. The property was clean, well stocked an just as advertised. Large kitchen, great ouutside space with plenty of chairs, firepit and hot tub. Quite neighborhood with comfortable beds for a good night's rest. Mark, the host was esdy to reach and communicate with. We would highly recommend this property if you are staying in the Stowe area!"

"This is an appealing property with a modern feel. It’s an older house and while it does have low ceilings (only a slight issue for me in the stairway as I’m 6’2”), it has significant modern updates and a lot of charm. Overall the property is also very clean. The property is picturesque with a nice brook running behind the house, into a small river in front of the house. "My friends and I were looking for a large home that was close to Smuggler's Notch and Stowe for disc golf and mountain biking and we found it here. Not only is it secluded with plenty of space outdoors for activities, but also has tons to do inside if the weather was bad which it rained each night. The pool table was so much fun ("Stumpy" is the name of the small pool cue BTW), and the theater room with a collection of over 100 movies was awesome. "We absolutely loved our stay. The home was bright and new, clean and comfortable. Great spaces for spreading out or watching movies all together. Everything we needed, all within a short, scenic drive to Stowe shops and restaurants. The basement area was a family favorite for watching movies, air hockey tourneys and just relaxing. We will absolutely be back. Tara, our host, was super helpful with tips for the area. Just perfect."

"The house was so beautiful and we did not expect such breathtaking views from the decks. The kitchen was wonderful with so many places to sit, and was laid out very well. The rooms were all spotless, and the beds were very comfortable. My children actually told me they loved them more than their beds at home! The proximity to every place we needed to go was so quick and easy. We spent a wonderful day, renting bikes, and using the stowe recreation path. This house really made our weekend getaway...
