"This was our second stay at St. Eugene. I have found when booking through Expedia you are given a less desirable room. The overnight stay was good. The only issues were that the door to the room had a non operable lock and we used only the flip over latch. A proper door lock is most important during a hotel stay. There was one bedside lamp only and it didn't work. It seemed that the beds were smaller than actual 'queen size'. I could be mistaken. The casino was fun."

"This was a mistake but now I know better. Aside from allergy problems (even after I vacuumed my room myself), I didn't sleep much because of several trains on 1 side and road traffic on the other. The only good things were the gym and breakfast. Vijan was very good there in the breakfast room."

"The hotel is dated but clean. Ripped carpet edges and stained couches. Very short shower head, I’m 5’6 and had to crouch to rinse the top of my head. The shower also had a high pitched squeal the whole time it ran which I remember having in another room last time I stayed here. Very comfortable bed and the hot breakfast is as good as you can hope for being free. Great staff all around. I was placed in the room next to the elevator which worried me at first, but I barely heard it. Individual climate control doesn’t exist in the rooms and people smoke right outside so opening your window isn’t always an option, so I found myself too warm and too cold at times. Overall it was good for the price and I would stay again."

"This vacation home was excellent. The host was very responsive when we had a question. We were also given an early check in which we appreciated. The kitchen is well equipped. The home is very roomy so all 5 of us had space. Would love to stay here again."

"The breakfast was excellent and provided the option for a healthy start to the day. The interior of the building has been beautifully upgraded and created a very cozy environment. The receptionist and host of the restaurant were both very friendly and extremely helpful! "
