"Really great place to stay. We stayed in room located in what we think was the original stable yard. The room was immaculate and perfectly Set out. The bar/ restaurant was a great place to hang out with friendly staff and great food. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a small slice of beautiful Yorkshire on your travels. "

"Dreadful, Things old and some not working (including some lights and Wi-Fi) but worst of all very loud music from down below till 11pm so couldn’t hear myself think. (All recorded) Awful, worst of places I’ve been and all for £100!!! "

"Great room, beautiful surroundings and the guy running the hotel was very friendly. Unfortunately I think they were a bit short staffed on the day so it took quite a while to get checked in and then the restaurant was full so we had to go elsewhere to eat - which wasnt easy in a tiny village."
