"Melia Da Nang was exceptional. Service at the pool bar was a little slow and because the resort wasn't full it lacked some atmosphere. On the plus side, we could always get a sun bed! Location was quite a way out of town (not walkable in the heat) but Grab transport was easy to use, always available and cheap."

"Bed bugs!!! Do not stay at this abandoned resort. Expedia should be ashamed that they represent this hotel as a partner. There is a total of 5 staff for the entire resort no managers is what they told me. Locals and staff bathing in the hot tubs and pools with clothes on. All restaurants closed All bars closed Multiple buildings abandoned and massively destroyed on property. My son and myself both ended up with bed bugs in 2 seperate rooms and had to spend an entire day sanitizing clothes, changing hotels and losing hundreds of dollars. Worst resort of my family’s adventures. "

"The staff was amazing from check in, to breakfast, dinner, writers bar, gym & spa, room cleaning & turn down service… the hotel is south of the main action, but a quick taxi ride and you’re in the middle. Again, the staff were amazing!!"

"Nice property, clean, comfortable bed. Top floor pool very nice. Breakfast buffet very good, local and international food. I had issue 1 day with the air-condition, fixed fast, professional, politely. Very nice everyone. Pls, check out the nex door Vietnamese restaurant, very good food. Grocery store close by and many other restaurant. From my room 700steps to beach."

"It is very sad that I'm having to leave a very poor review for the Hyatt Regency in Da Nang. We stayed there for 5 days and 4 nights, with kids. The following are our main issues with it: 1. Staff Attitude: We were one of the few Indian families on the property that weekend. The staff constantly were particularly rude with us right from checkin. They were impatient, and dismissive of our requests. We arrived at 2:15pm and requested for room availability at 2:45pm because we needed to take an urgent work call. The reception staff flatly refused to give us access to the room before 3pm checkin time. No effort was made to accommodate the request in any way, no checking with housekeeping. Overall, the hotel and the staff have a clear preference on which guests they prefer to serve. During our whole stay, in multiple instances, staff looked completely disinterested to respond to any requests by the poolside, there were no smiles, no greetings, no warmth. This is very different from our previous experiences in other hotels and resorts in Vietnam. We were actually quite shocked! 2. Slow Service: We were left waiting for food and drinks for over an hour each time. We understand that the hotel was quite full, but such slow service despite repeated reminders was really frustrating, especially when we had kids who were really hungry. I would not reccommend this hotel for your next stay! Stay away!"
