"The room was very small, and the bigger problem is that it gets extremely hot during the day. There's no air conditioning, and the windows only open partway, so there's no way to cool the room down or get proper airflow. I didn't sleep well the whole stay.
Housekeeping was also a letdown — the towels had stains on them and hair, so I ended up drying myself with napkins. That's not something you expect at any price point.
On the positive side, the front desk staff were genuinely helpful and...
"Had a double room booked. Was told had been upgraded to a King Room. This was on 6th floor and "overlooking the park". Yes but blocked by trees. Anyway... the main problem was the small head of shower was also broken and water went horizontally soaking floor, sink, mirror and all my belongings. No way to dry floor. Awful.

"This was my second stay at the hotel. Reception staff are very helpful and give a lovely welcome. They noticed I was celebrating my 60 birthday and gave us vouchers for a glass of wine each. The location is ideal for tube but so many places are within walking distance as well. Good breakfast to start the day. Excellent facility for luggage storage as well,"
