When you want to relax inside, grab a seat on the couch in front of the flat-screen satellite Smart TV. The floor-to-ceiling brick gas fireplace helps to set the tone for a cozy mountain getaway.

On your drive to the lake, pick up some fresh produce at the grocery or farmers market to utilize the fully equipped kitchen. You will find plenty of options in cookware and serving pieces and spices. Gather up ingredients for a new recipe or stick to a family favorite to serve on the outdoor patio under the pergola.

Host a game night in the downstairs den that features a billiards table and built-in dartboard. On lookers can watch a movie on the flat-screen satellite Smart TV or take in the fresh alpine air from the lower level deck.

It’s all we could ask for in a lake vacation home

Gratitude is all that it said it would be! Beautiful home, spectacular setting. Lake views and access to Lake Glenville was amazing. The dock, kayaks and beach provided many family memories. We hated to leave and highly recommend

Weekend on the Lake

Our family had the best weekend. The house and property are beautiful! The pictures don’t do it justice. Sunrise over the mountain was breathtaking. We can’t wait to go back!

Great stay at a great home

Brought our family for vacation had a great time. The home is set up perfectly for a large family with plenty of room. The views of the lake from the property were wonderful and our kids loved paddling around in the Kayaks. Linda did a great job communicating and connected us to a boat rental company for the week which also turned out to be a great experience. We would stay again.

What a great location

The property and it's large waterfront, private beach, and spacious deck was lovely. Access from the dock was steep, but worth it for the views. Parking was good, and road access was comparable or a bit better than other houses in the area. The well equipped laundry room and extra fridge were a plus.

Great rental

My family and I stayed there for a week over spring break. The house is beautiful. Tremendous amount of lakefront that’s private. Very quiet. Exactly as advertised. The owner was very gracious and was an excellent communicator and very responsive. Would absolutely recommend.

Great property

We’ve been to Lake Glenville multiple times, but this is the nicest lakeside property we’ve seen! 2 walk-in sand beach areas (one faces north, other east, so could pick where we wanted to swim/float around based on sun, waves, wake,, etc), kayaks to use, dock for fishing and boat I rented, lots of privacy, 3 firepit areas, huge double deck. Some areas in house are a little bit dated, but good beds, and everything worked fine. Prompt response from owners on a few small issues.

Adventure

We recently stayed at this beautiful property and thoroughly enjoyed all of the outdoor opportunities available to us! We ate and played games on the upper deck and particularly appreciated the gorgeous view and the covered picnic tables - we enjoyed them even when it was raining :). We made use of the dock (rented a pontoon), the beach, the kayaks, the swings, and the fire pits. It is safe to say that my grandchildren especially loved running around outside and ending the day with roasted marshmallows. We appreciated that we could go swimming, boating, and running around without having to get in the car and drive somewhere. At the same time, there is plenty of great hiking in the area and we thoroughly enjoyed the little towns and their shopping and dining options. The owner was wonderful about answering all my questions both before and during our stay. All in all — it was a wonderful vacation spot!!!

Family vacation

Myself, husband, mom and grown children stayed for the week with some visits from extended family and friends with little ones throughout the week. The weather was amazing for August and we were fishing with the boat we brought or were down at the beach everyday. We used all 3 fire pits, roasting hotdogs one night, s’mores another night then we picnicked at the beach and used that pit for warmth and ambiance. Each evening we dined on the upper deck and had a beautiful family birthday party one evening. The beds were all very comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. The only thing that could be improved on is the indoor living and dining furniture. We didn’t use it much but if the weather had forced us inside, there wouldn’t have been enough seating and it wasn’t very comfortable. This place is pure magic and was a much needed place of respite for our group. We also found 3 waterfalls on the lake, all within a close distance to the house.

Wonderful retreat by a lake

We love the house and the location, the views are amazing. The house sits on top of the hill and you can seat on the deck or down by the water to enjoy the view and surroundings. Kids run up and down the hill, had fun on the swing and we all took the canoe around the lake. Linda the owner was wonderful to us. We will be back!

Beautiful Home

We enjoyed our stay in the Lake Glenville house. The house was clean, well maintained had plenty of room for our extended family. It rained 5 of the 7 days we were there and the house was comfortable enough for us to stay busy-cooking, playing cards, watching TV, art projects. It's location is near several quaint mountain towns and the family enjoyed visits to Cashiers, Highlands and Sylva. Linda was helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. Would definitely stay again.

Better than you can imagine

This charming family owned Lakehouse was absolutely amazing. The pictures and description cannot do it justice. It is better than you can imagine. we had a small family reunion, and enjoy the week at the lake. The peninsula the property sits on is very private and makes for several amazing outside spaces all overlooking the water and mountains. Outside dining on the multilevel deck makes for wonderful evenings enjoying dinner together with wonderful views. Linda, the homeowner, was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed to have our boat and JetSki‘s there. We can’t wait to go back!

Expansive property

We stayed at this property for my daughter's wedding and really enjoyed everything. There is plenty of room, the downstairs pool table made for a fun area to congregate. We would rent here again but preferably in the warmer months as we could then use the lake.

Wonderful Venue!

Terrific place to spend a family vacation! Beautiful views, tons of privacy, plenty of family gathering areas but also roomy enough for everyone to have their own space. Linda was a gracious host and the property was everything we had hoped it would be. Take a walk along the lake shore, a paddle in the canoe, make S'mores in the fire pit, shoot a friendly game of pool, or relax on the decks and just enjoy the scenery, you will not be disappointed!

We really enjoyed our stay. House is beautiful and decks are wonderful. Some enjoyed the fire pit and canoe while others just watched from the decks. Had great weather till rain came the last day. Linda, the owner, was very helpful.

Beautiful home on Lake Glenville, spectacular views, one wall of the house is all windows (amazing), it is on the water, house is well appointed and has everything you would ever need for a perfect stay. Hostess was incredibly kind, helpful and supportive! She is a gem!

Mountain Holiday Getaway

This is a wonderful, cozy and spacious home with fabulous views and lake access. We enjoyed a fire by the lake and relaxing and eating on the large deck. We will visit the home again!
