What a relaxing and beautiful place to stay! This was our first Bed and Breakfast experience and it was wonderful!!! The service was top notch, and being a clean freak, I can safely say this place gets 5 stars for being clean!

Going to the Ref Cardinal is like visiting your favorite Aunt and Uncle’s house. Bill and Joanne have been doing this for a while and it shows. Joanne cooks up an unbelievable breakfast and both are great conversationalists. There goal is to make you feel like you are one of the family and I can say we truly felt that way. We had to visit Gettysburg College for our daughter’s XC meet which was only about 20 miles away.

The house is absolutely beautiful and has a museum within it of civil war artifacts. Laura and Ronald were amazing hosts and the food was delicious. Highly recommend staying here. 10/10! I can’t wait to go back.

From the viewpoint of these world travelers this was our best stay ever -- anywhere. Tops in terms of location, accommodations, breakfasts (7 superb days), atmosphere, grounds, and variety of rooms. Newlyweds had private cottages on the 2 acre landscaped grounds. Tasty treats always available. IMMEDIATE hot water a definite plus. Country atmosphere only 2 miles from Hershey and within easy driving range to State Capital, Philadelphia, PA DUTCH country, Gettysburg. Only a 20 minute drive...

The location was excellent, near downtown and with a parking garage next door. The rooms were great! We stayed in two, a queen sized bedroom on the third floor and a king sized bedroom on the second floor. Both were very quiet, very comfortable, and not your standard bland hotel room yet had very modern conveniences. The breakfasts served were delicious--someone took a great deal of care to make sure the fresh fruit was ripe and tasty, and the eggs and french toast were very good.

Angie was a gracious and attentive hostess who obviously takes Pride in her B&B. It was located just minutes from downtown Hershey and there are the restaurants around it that I would highly recommend you try. This stately old home has been beautifully refinished and the accommodations are spacious and extremely comfortable. I have already recommended it to a friend.

The Brafferton Inn is old but really cool. It was close to everything we wanted to see. The staff were wonderful and Brian was a great host and a wonderful chef. The breakfast was delicious! I would recommend this B&B for your stay in Gettysburg.
