"Had another great stay at this cottage, third time back here so that says something. Quirky but great, stairs may be an issue to elderly or less mobile. Excellent position in the town with parking right outside. Shops, cafes and pubs within 100 yards. Fantastic fish & chip shop just across the road. Local buses to railway station and local town stops within yards of the front door. Wensleydale creamery a 10 minute walk. Countryside is stunning."

"This was my third stay since my first visit in 2014 from Canada. Have never forgotten the beauty of the setting and cozy atmosphere. Particularly enjoyed our ground floor room with the conservatory which gives you direct access to the outdoors. The walk across the field to Hawes is always fun. Great staff, food delicious."

"We were impressed with how cozy this cottage was: it was warm, the sofa was comfortable and the beds were huge. We had everything that we needed and the location was perfect - residual with a parking spot!"

"Our welcome when we arrived was excellent. Liz was very helpful telling us sbout breakfast etc. Our room no 5 was quite spacious and had a nice view of the hillside of the dale. Breakfast was well cooked and tasty. Glenn was very efficient and knowledgeable about the area and made you feel relaxed with his banter. The en suite was a tad small but we managed ok. Will return and stay with them again at some point if we are visiting the area."
