"room clean staff excellent"

"I arrived to find that the hotel I booked in February has been closed since January. After 3 days Hotels.com have yet to respond in any useful way to my questions as to how this happened and when they will refund me. The payment, which was shown as "on site" was taken 2 days before I arrived. I hope no one else has booked this place. I would recommend always messaging hotels before visiting, to make sure they are open."

"The room was very clean and had everything we needed, including a small fridge with a bottle of fresh milk. There is a large residents lounge with sofa, arm chair, rocking chairs, tables and chairs which was great for chilling. The breakfast (yogurt followed by a cooked breakfast) was delicious, especially the sausages from the local butcher's. The only downside was the steep stairs, however the warm welcome more than made up for it. We will be staying again."
