"Lovely traditional old pub, lovely dinner and breakfast. Rooms were furnished to a high quality, bathroom a little small. Nice touch with coffee with a cafetiere and teas and biscuits. Plenty of hanging space and plug sockets. Surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful, the waterfalls and great walks all around..cannot recommend enough."

"We were lucky as we were allocated a room at the rear of the hotel with stunning views The staff were extremely helpful and we had a fantastic stay. This was our first trip to the dales, and were blown away by the location of the hotel, the local businesses etc. A huge thank you for a wonderful trip."

"The cottage was traditional and quaint. The views from the windows were outstanding. The rooms were large and comfy. The only faults were the towels and bedding could do with renewing, and the on site parking is via an extremely tight access. Definitely would recommend to large groups as a great base for exploring the dales."

"We love Lilac Cottage, been here about 5 times and never fails to disappoint. Nothing immediate in the way of a shop in Sedbusk but that suits us as we like to walk into Hawes or to the Green Dragon for a pint at Hardraw. Sedbusk is just such a beautiful peaceful hamlet. The cottage is very old but homely, but has everything you need but don't expect a palace. Biggest compliment it that we keep returning."

"We had a lovely time at The Barn House. Luckily for us the adjoining barn was vacant so we could use their parking space and garden as there is no garden for The Barn House and only 1 parking space. The managers of the caravan club couldn't do enough for us including taking in our shopping when it arrived. Everything worked in the kitchen and bathrooms. The only bug bare was no downstairs loo and it looks like there is ample space for one. Town of Hawes is great. Would recommend highly and would book again. We met up with a family member with their motor home so were all able to stay in the same locality."
