"Beautiful property within walking distance of restaurants, takeouts, stores and pubs. All in all a great stay since being there for 5 nights we had a kitchen/fridge/dining table and living room - especially since most breakfast restaurants are not open until 9am. Had some questions about the hot water and the owner was responsive and helpful. Only complaint was too many stairs for us with luggage since I am diabetic and had a broken shoulder. Wasn't a problem without our luggage."

"An upmarket beautifully appointed hotel. We were given an upgarde on arrival to a large room with blacony. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of main courses served in a lavishly appointed dining room. Very helpful personable staff. The only negative factor was that even in October the room was inadequately heated. The single heater in a large room gave only a feeble output .No additional heaters were available. Otherwise an excellent stay. The hotel is a recent aqusition of the RAD group. I have a RAD card and should earn points for the stay. The staff seemed uncertain about the system and to date I do not know if the points due were added. Hopefully the staff can be trained in this,"

"We’re 76 and 71 years old. The property, while nice, does not have a lift. Very difficult for us to schlep our suitcases up three flights of stairs. It’s a “contactless” hotel, which worked out fine. No issues with access. The restaurant in front of the property, while not part of the hotel, was very nice and offered a discount to hotel guests."
