"Frangipani Royal Palace Hotel is located in a wonderful location of Phnom Penh. We splurged for a room with a palace view, and they truly delivered. Staff was great, especially the night clerk Nan, who we talked with each evening. The street food options nearby are so perfect. Charming!"

"Location is near royal palace, 2 parks nearby and seen from balcony, a few famous landmarks within walking distance. Quiet neighbourhood with easy access to transport and restaurants. Security staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious with good air conditioning and lots of hot water. The hotel was very clean inside and outside (staff were always seen cleaning). Strong blast of AC with a jasmine scent as soon as you walk though the main door which is great when you come in from the heat outside. Food from restaurant at the hotel were mediocre though (ordered steak which were so tough to cut/chew). Only complaint would be that they allow prostitutes into the hotel. When coming back to the hotel one evening, I watched as a guest brought a prostitute in, walked by reception, and to the elevator. Reception didn't say anything even though they saw. I ended up in the elevator with them and it was awkward to listen to them talk (there is only 1 elevator and it's very slow). "

"This place is amazing! It's an oasis right behind the Royal Palace. We would come from a hot day of touring to relax by the beautiful pool. The food was beyond excellent! The pool food was good - especially the pumpkin soup. But is the main restaurant that is outstanding. We had plans to go to other places throughout the week, but ended up going there several times instead because it was so good and the selection broad so we can eat different things each time. The front desk people were really outstanding, friendly and helpful. Hotel is perfect location by the sites that we were most interested in. Overall, it is a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. "

"This hotel is truly excellent, a real oasis in the heart of Phnom Penh. Quiet, luxurious yet close to everything. Two gorgeous yet different swimming pools. Love children but no children allowed which make this place especially quiet and low stress. The staff are amongst the best we have had the privilege to stay with, friendly and super helpful yet unobtrusive and plenty of them to cater for our needs. The spa is good and the therapists great at helping you to relax - ask for "Dalin" she is one of the best we have experienced at any hotel. Stay, you won't regret it!"

"Amazing hotel, 5 star in every respect but combined with the intimate feeling of a home. The housemaids deserve a special mention, the rooms are absolutely every day. Breakfast is maybe average for this standard hotel but was that because all else excelled?"
