"Above the Clouds was a simply wonderful place to take a long weekend getaway. It was secluded and comfortable, but convenient to all the fun shops and restaurants in Black Mountain, just a short drive away. The cabin is well appointed and very clean, with plenty of things to do and enjoy without leaving the house. Communication was excellent and check-in/out was simple. Highly recommended!"

"Great communication from the get go! Kept in touch through text messages! Even asked if we wanted any Christmas decorations! (We went dec 21-24)Great Cabin for a multi generational family getaway. Teens could spend time downstairs w all the games while we adulted up stairs. Cooked 3 dinners, had everything we needed!!! We would bring foil, zip lock bags and more togo containers next trip! Had lots of blankets of all warmth through out the house, which was great! We had 2 dogs w us and the cabin was perfect for them. Little grassy area out front where they could play. Just a heads up, there is no typical charcoal/gas grill, it is a blackstone grill. Some may not be used to using that type. Also, it needs a good scrub! We just put foil down and cooked steaks on top of the tin foil. You will see some stink bugs, but if you've been in the woodsy area, you know thats extremely typical for a wood cabin. Highly recommend!!! Everyone from 8 yrs- 70 yrs loved it!"

"The home was immaculate, and as a pet-friendly home it certainly exceeded my expectations. The views did not disappoint. The extra thoughtful touches were appreciated (plenty of extra blankets for lounging, kid-friendly touches in the bunk room and a large assortment of games for family time, plenty of kitchen amenities to please any chef, and even night lights throughout the home (an often forgotten travel item) .
