"The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room was very clean and very comfortable, there was even a lounge area which we didn't expect. The hotel itself is in a prime location so everything is within walking distance. The bar at the hotel is well stocked and we did dine at the hotel and the food was amazing. The only downside I can think of is the parking situation. The hotel does have parking but with very limited spaces, but there is plenty of other parking options which the hotel does inform you about before hand. My wife and I would definitely stay here again."

"Beautiful cottage, in the heart of the village. Very clean and well looked after, with welcoming touches on arrival. Spacious for 6 of us and a well behaved dog. Local for the two pubs in the village for excellent meals out. Very close to some lovely walks in the Peak District, Lathkill Dale and the Thornbridge Estate just up the road, Bakewell 10 minute drive away. An excellent choice which catered for all our needs.
