"This hotel is in a good location, close to the Stirling Castle and various restaurants and pubs. This property needs an upgrade. Our room had broken closet doors that didn’t get properly fixed. The entire hotel needs a redo. "

"The hotel is located in a striking, historical building and the location is great. Our room was also large, well lit and the ensuite bathroom was very nice. The hotel markets itself as a “luxury” hotel and has the makings of one. But the staff do not appear to be well trained, the food was not great, and the furniture in our room was moderate quality at best and somewhat beaten up by wear and tear.
