Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed to be required to pay in cash upon checkout. There was even a sign that said they accepted credit cards but she was insistent on cash. Wiped out my cash supply and due to transaction fees and exchange rates cash is much more expensive for travel. Found this to be typical in Greece, however,...

"Staff was great, very helpful and gave us lot of tips. Breakfast was nice and service outstanding. Room was good, beds good, but average quality on the bed and the bed linens. Not an outstanding room, but worked ok for a short stay. Lots of steps to get down from parking to the hotel and from the hotel to town. There are many hotels in Nafplio where you can avoid the steps. "
