A nice quiet getaway about 35 minutes from Cuenca. Surrounded by nature, enabling one to go for walks. It is a family run place and the hosts are very friendly and helpful.

This was a beautiful property. The beds we very comfortable, the shower was great and the room was very clean. Breakfast was wonderful and include made to order eggs. A word of caution on the rates. On Expedia, the rate listed is for a single person. The is an additional charge of$25 per night for each additional person. I was surprised when I checked out. However, we had a very nice stay. Thank you.

Friendly staff good location felt like home away from home.

Having spent a week here I grew to appreciate all the little things that added to the comfort of my stay. Family owned and run, the level of service was both personal and top shelf. I have traveled the world and don't stop to spend time reviewing one corporate run hotel over another but here I am happy to spread the good word for this lovely family and boutique hotel. Classic colonial hotel steps to the historic district, we regretted leaving.

Very nice place, noisy on Sat.night

Casa Firenza wasn’t my first choice, but it turned out to be one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had! We stayed in a beautiful suite overlooking the park and cathedral. The location was unbeatable, and we even enjoyed the city’s horse parade right from our balcony! Breakfast at Bogoli, the rooftop restaurant, came with stunning views of Cuenca. Nos encantó el lugar, ubicación increíble, limpieza increíble, el staff de gran ayuda. El único inconveniente fue que la ducha tenía el olor medio extraño y el Netflix de la sala no funcionaba pero aparte de esos dos detallitos, todo increíble. 100% recomendable

We have visited Cuenca several times and always stay in the historic district. This is the best hotel ever. It is beautiful and the staff was more than helpful. It has a beautiful dinning room and the breakfasts were very good--and included in the price of the room. We look forward to going back!

Muy acogedor muy limpio hermoso lugar

It's a great little spot close to many wonderful restaurants and markets in the heart of the historic district. The breakfasts were very good as well. The WiFi is a little slow if you need it for business so bring a backup. My fave part of my stay however, was their hotel mascot, Empanada .

I loved the location. It was close to the San Sebastian park and an easy walk to Calle Larga. The hotel called a taxi for me more than once and the driver charged a lower rate than just hailing a taxi myself. The provided a nice self-serve breakfast that included eggs, bacon, fruit, cereal, bread, cheese, juice and coffee or tea. I probably missed something, but the fact that it was self-service made it fast, which I really appreciated.

Amazing place, great customer service, well train staff, clean environment, excellent view, I will make a better architecture changes on bathrooms.. can not be toilet and hand washing sink in a different room... Healthy issues.. overall great place
