"Belize has been on my bucket list of places to travel. The opportunity to visit was presented to celebrate my son’s 13th birthday and my partner’s birthday since they both enjoy snorkelling, diving and being in the sea. We booked our trip to stay at Alaia Autograph as it was listed as a 4.5-5 star hotel. "This was a margaritaville property until Dec of 25. The resort was clean the food was decent but the menus could have offered more options or maybe a daily special. For all inclusive the food options were lacking. Our room was great oceanfront suite. The beach was full of sea weed but the hotel had guys out there every day removing it. They just couldn’t beat Mother Nature though. The stall was very accommodating."

"The property is in the vicinity of lots of restaurants. I highly recommend Garifuna Soul Food Restaurant. I had a King Room Deluxe which had a full kitchen with anything you need to cook, store and reheat your food. Thus room type really allows you to ger comfortable and store your belongings away. The concierge was very helpful with recommending dining options like Sweet Tutz. The food there was very authentic and reasonably priced! 1 of 2 pools on-site was open for most days of my stay....

"There were not a lot of units but 3 pools. Never had to fight or get up early to get a chair. We could always find shade on our large balcony that looked out over the ocean. The reef was unbelizeable ! Swam with sharks, manatee, stingray, and turtles. Also tubed the caves which was incredibly beautiful and relaxing. All around great trip!"

"This was billed as an all inclusive resort, however it was not a true all inclusive. It included 3 meals each day but only breakfast had a choice. Lunch and dinner were served whatever the resort decided. Most dishes were very salty. No drinks were included. Not even bottled water. Luckily the tap water was safe to drink."
