"Clean rooms, amazing staff, Andreas and jeraua the bar tenders in the higher end bar were amazing and super helpful highly recommend staying at riu guanacaste"

"The resort property was beautiful and pretty well maintained, especially the pools. AND, the staff was very friendly. BUT, if you're going there for the "all inclusive" part of it, it's basically almost non existant. There are 2 bars, one swim up and one in the restaurant area and between the two, you might find 5 bottles of booze (and that's mostly really cheap stuff). The so called "nice" restaurant, Calibri, was not even open the whole time we were there (7 days). And, the food was not that...

"This place is a little slice of heaven. Me and my husband absolutely fell in love with this place. From the amazing staff to the incredible food this place is the way to go. It’s more relaxed, family oriented. Perfect place to go and enjoy the beach in peace. The beach is just a very small walk from your room. We are already planning another visit in the future. We didn’t know what to expect our first time in Costa Rica but this place has got you covered. I’ll give Freddy’s Experiences a good...

"I stayed at Secrets Papagayo in October when the resort was at 60% capacity, so it was pleasantly relaxed and never felt overcrowded. I’d read complaints about the shuttles, and it’s true that the steep layout makes walking around difficult. However, I never waited more than 10 minutes for a ride, even at 1 a.m. The facilities were clean and well maintained, and my room’s AC worked great. As a former military guy, I’m pretty easy to please: give me a clean room and cold air, and I’m...

"The property and staff were nice..A few take aways, 1) 3pm Check-in means 3pm no flexilbilty on that,, 2) After we checked-in the two specialty restaraunts were already booked up. for our entire stay..(our stay was from Mon_Fri.)...Bummer. 3)The resort sits on the side of a mountain, so the pool and beach are a distance..so you need to be in decent shape for the hike back.."

"Staff were friendly. Food wasn't worth the money spent. Weekly same menu. Got tired of it. Pools are nice."

"Rooms are clean and amazing. Pool area was immaculate. Beach was so soft. Loved this property. Spa was amazing too."

"Wonderful stay at Bosque del Mar — friendly, helpful staff, beautiful well-kept grounds. We'd happily come back."

"This hotel is a true gem. There is only a 5 minute walk to the beautiful Playa Hermosa. All the staff are friendly and accommodating and the restaurant serves high quality and delicious food. It is safe, tranquil, and exceptionally clean. The tropical gardens are beautifully maintained and my stay was amazing."

"The location is perfect. Close to the beach and walking distance to many restaurants and shops. This is a nice relaxing place , great for older people not looking for much. It is a little dated, limited amenities, limited food options for included breakfast and limited flexibility when dealing with staff. The staff was very nice and welcoming. It appeared to be a happening place for the locals. They had game nights and all and people from the area would come. The food was decent overall...

"SuiTree was a wonderful place to stay for my first trip to Costa Rica. The reception on arrival was warm and welcoming. The room was exactly as pictured - no surprises and everything was in working order. The staff were excellent - every single person I interacted with was genuinely happy to be of service. Special mentions go to Grace, Carlos, and Johnny who made the experience exceptional! Since I traveled during the low season, the property was undergoing some renovations, but this was made...

"The pool and grounds of the property were gorgeous, and the staff were very friendly and helpful with everything. Nice breakfasts made to order. The economy rooms are a bit basic, we decided to pay a bit more to upgrade to a superior room which was excellent."

"Staff was absolutely amazing! The restaurant located in this resort is phenomenal. It really was a treat for us to stay here."

"The place is pretty cool! A unique stay. Definitely not a great place if you are planning on working since their WiFi is not the best. They do have a small coworking space but the lighting is kinda bad and bad WiFi as well. Aside from that, everything was great! The plunge pool was nice, the rooms nice and clean, and breakfast was small but good."
