"Wallet went missing and we are sure it was in the hotel room safe, didn’t notice until I got home as it had pounds in and was not used when away. Emailed the hotel only to be told that nothing was found in the safe or room. Disappointing as the hotel was good value in a good area. "

"Basic rooms with tired look and feel. Booked an attic room. Huge bed would sleep 3 easily. I slept well. AC never seemed to get the room cold, even tho on 24/7. Everything was clean and housekeeping did an excellent job. Small fridge in room. Shower leaked so small bathroom floor was wet. Terrace had two loungers two small chairs and small drinks table. One of the loungers had split webbing. Breakfast buffet was ok, all sort yourself, no laid tables. Staff seemed more interested in your room...

"The hotel was in a great position very close to Montjuic - easy uphill walk to the funicular. Staff very friendly. Quite noisy at night and no kettle for hot drinks which we had expected. There were plenty excellent options nearby for breakfast which we took advantage of rather than the hotel dining room. We thought that the tourist tax (over €18 for 2 people x 2 nights total) should have been more clearly stated at time of booking. "

"This hotel is close to the airport, and within walking distance to a metro station. It is located in a residential area with a green field inside. Room inside is clean, and environment friendly. Nice place. However, their check-in time is 3pm. Unlike other hotels in Barcelona, they don't offer flexibility at all. My check-in time on the booking was 2pm, and they just said it is not updated. I tried to check-in at 2:56pm, and they said the room was not ready. So for those who had a long flight...

"My family loved our ‘bungalow’ and would recommend Tres Estrellas to anyone who travels to the Gava/Barcelona area. The beach is gorgeous and we saw sea glass and beautiful shells in addition to enjoying the breeze and fun waves. The staff was helpful and efficient, and assisted with transportation. We are so happy we chose Tres Estrella’s for our first part of our trip."
