"The villa is an old family home and is situated within a lemon orchard. It has fabulous views to Etna and the sea, with a small stony beach, not crowded, in 1 km distance. There is a nostalgic touch on almost everything in the villa, a thing I really enjoyed. The surroundig ground has something of an enchanted garden with many lovely places. "We were traveling through Sicily and decided to stay at the Valle Galfina for only one night while exploring the Mt Etna area. It was tricky to locate the property due to limited signage but things began well with a welcome and glass of wine. "Nice room with private bathroom, shared full kitchen and balcony view of the mountains. Very close to historic city centre with good restaurants. Owner was friendly and spoke good English- we liked his restaurant recommendations. Close to main road and easy to find. Parking on street in front.
