Wonderful oasis - staff was the best!

Very activity focused, friendly staff, great food and very unkept property

Kristin and James, the owners and operators of the Spectra Lodge are wonderful and their love their creation and you can feel it the moment you step in. They have extended knowledge of the area activities and love to share that with their guests. Kristin is excellent chef so you will enjoy included breakfast and definitely should try the optional dinner. The rooms are very clean comfortable, we slept really well. We really enjoyed after dinner conversation and hear stories about their travels.

We had a wonderful time in Santiago, partially due to our accommodations. The location is most convenient to attractions as well as the metro should you want to navigate the city. The homemade breads each morning were scrumptious and the overall selection was extensive. The beds were comfy and the rooms were stylish. The staff speaks English which was a huge help when planning the days activities. I highly recommend this boutique hotel!!

This was the trip of a lifetime and we could not have picked a better place to stay, especially for the price. We were a little skeptical at first because it was a little farther from the actual downtown, but it was a pretty easy 15 minute walk to get to everything, which also made it quite peaceful and relaxing. The staff were amazing. They went above and beyond to please. Using Uber is fast, clean, and cheap for all excursions. The Concierge team arranged any activity and we so very helpful. Most questions and requests could be asked and replied via what’s app- which helped a lot without Spanish translations. The service my wife and I received was excellent, especially from Mr. Alfonso and Ms. Alison, who assisted us even before our arrival. Throughout our one-week stay, they were always helpful in recommending activities and places to visit in Santiago. The location is excellent, in a quiet neighborhood and very close to the metro station, making it a great choice for those who wish to use public transportation. We would definitely stay at this hotel again on our next visit to Santiago!

The staff were incredibly nice and helpful - it's lovely having a person on-site that is knowledgeable and able to book all regional tours on your behalf - the property and rooms have stunning views (and are evidently pretty new) and the hot tubs are a definite bonus. The menu changes every day, all delicious. We stayed 3 nights, we wish we could have stayed at least a week! Ps. The Termas del Sol nearby are well worth a visit!

Love the new addition of the game room next to the pool. Staff are super friendly and helpful. We were efficiently helped with dinner reservations and changes to our ski excursion. We also love the extras - a bottle of wine and a sandwich this time, but it’s litterally the luck of your draw. Last time we received free buffet breakfast and wine. A great place to stay. I loved the Aubrey Hotel, it's two large houses turned into a boutique hotel with great style and very intimate feel to the back terrace and the piano bar. The staff made the trip extra special. I cannot say enough good things about The Place and would stay there again. The design of our suite was incredible. Our overnight flight arrived and they allowed us to check in early at 10 a.m. Likewise, our overnight departure flight was at 10:30 p.m. and they let us check out at 2 p.m. Breakfast is in their restaurant and there are five different choices. The Hostal Rio Amazonas is very centrally-located and walking distance to the Barrio Bellavista (neighborhood) with many restaurants and activities as well as to Metro Lines 1 and 5 (Baquedano station) which connect to most of Santiago. Situated on an unremarkable street, Hotel Boutique Matildas stands out as a beautifully renovated and architecturally important reminder of an elegant and bygone era. The staff was professional and friendly, and even consulted me with excursions. The breakfast was relatively generous. The place is really close to the main street so there are a lot of restaurants, bars and places to go out nearby.

The hotel is 110 kilometers from the nearest town and has to generate its own electricity. Got lucky with the weather for the time of year and the scenery both in the park and from the hotel lobby and rooms was spectacular. The front desk was extremely helpful and the concierge was right on top of everything helping to arrange excursions for my family.
